It's Unconventional is an ERP advisory and Odoo implementation practice. Contact: hello@itsunconventional.com.
What we collect
We collect the minimum necessary to do the work.
Diagnostic conversations (/diagnose/):
your typed messages, a session cookie identifier, and metadata
(timestamps, fit assessment outputs). No email is required to
start. You may optionally provide one — if you don't, the
conversation expires.
Contact form & applications: the fields you submit — typically name, email, situation description, optional resume or LinkedIn. Delivered to our inbox via Web3Forms.
Resource downloads & newsletter: when you request a downloadable resource (e.g., the RFP Audit Checklist) or subscribe to Unconventional Newsletter, you provide your name, work email, company, and role. We pass these to Beehiiv (our newsletter ESP) so they can deliver the resource, send the welcome sequence, and any future newsletter issues. You can unsubscribe from any email; doing so removes you from all future sends.
Calendar bookings: handled by Cal.com. Their privacy policy applies to that data.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled. We see aggregated traffic patterns, not individuals.
How we use it
To reply to your inquiry, assess fit for engagement, and improve the site through anonymized analytics. We don't sell your data, don't run ad networks, and don't share your inputs with third parties beyond the providers below.

Data flows through these processors, each with their own privacy terms:
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymized site analytics
- Web3Forms — contact + application form delivery
- Beehiiv — newsletter subscription and resource delivery
- Cal.com — calendar bookings (when used)
- Anthropic — AI processing for the diagnostic chat
Cookies
We set a session cookie for the diagnostic (no PII) and Google
Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid). You can
decline cookies in your browser; the site still works.
Your rights
Email hello@itsunconventional.com to request a copy of any data we hold about you, request deletion, or correct any inaccurate information. We respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted here with a new last updated date.
